Brad Southerland, CIC, Commercial Account Executive. Brad graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 with a degree in business administration. He has been an insurance advisor for more than 10 years and received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2004. Brad specializes in property/casualty programs for contractors, manufacturers, restaurants and service businesses. With the recent opening of Senn Dunn’s Wilmington office, Brad is looking forward to the opportunity to continue to serve this area with a focus on large commercial accounts. When not providing excellent service to his clients, Brad is enjoying his family, church activities and the Wilmington Family YMCA where he chairs the long range planning committee and participates in their Triathlon Club.

Tricia Marks, Employee Benefits Account Manager. Tricia has been with Senn Dunn Insurance for over five years as a valued employee in the Employee Benefits division of the Greensboro team. Prior to joining Senn Dunn, she worked for a large national health insurance carrier in account management, new group implementation and network development. She currently assists clients with their administrative and service issues and as their advocate with
insurance carriers. She is licensed in Life and Health. Tricia and her husband enjoy the beach, boating and fishing.

Adelaide Smith, CISR, Commercial Accounts Manager. Adelaide began her insurance career while a student at UNC-Chapel Hill. She worked with an independent agency for two years prior to graduation and continued after graduation. Adelaide has a background working with commercial accounts and is happy to join our new Wilmington office team since she loves the coast. She spends her free time working with organizations to help raise money for cancer patients as well as white water rafting.

Jarrett Shearin, CIC, Commercial Insurance Advisor.
Jarrett, a baseball player for the Tar Heels, graduated in 2000 from UNC-Chapel Hill. He was named NCAA Freshman of the Year, ACC All Conference, held numerous university baseball records, and was drafted by Kansas City in 1999. After a brief minor league career, Jarrett entered the insurance business. He began working for a large independent insurance agency in Raleigh prior to joining Senn Dunn in their Greensboro office. In June of 2008, Jarrett and his family relocated to the Wilmington area. He continued his professional education and graduated from the Hartford School of Insurance. Jarrett’s expertise and focus is on risk management and insurance for contractors but he is also a respected advisor to manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. Jarrett’s clients count on him for his careful evaluation and ability to find the best combination of pricing and coverage options each year. His young family gets most of his leisure time and attention, but you can occasionally find him working on his golf skills, boating and fishing.
